Blind Heart

Once upon a time, there was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everything and everyone, except her loving boyfriend who was always there for her. She told him "If I could only see the world, I will marry you". One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. After the surgery, when the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend. He asked her "Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?" The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind too, the sight of his closed eyelids shocked her, and she hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life, led her to refuse to marry him.  Her boyfriend left brokenhearted. Days later he wrote a note to her saying: "Dear, take good care of your eyes, for before they were yours, they were mine" Fin…

My journey with the Holy Qur'an

My journey with the holy Qur'an started on 8/8/1421. It was an ordinary Saturday to everyone, even to me. But later on, I realized how my life changed from that day on…Previously; I didn't have anything to do during evening time (between Asar prayer and Magrib Prayer). But after that day, every evening, I used to stay in the Halaqah in the masjid near our neighborhood, memorizing the holy Qur'an along with some of my friends... After two years of this routine, on 21/9/1423, with help and inspiration from Allah, I completed memorizing the holy Qur'an. I was the first one among the students of my ustaz (teacher) who did that. And what a lucky person he is, for that every time I read the holy Qur'an, he will get reward… If you think that the journey has ended, then you are wrong. The journey has not ended yet and neither this blog! After that, I participated in the standard exam in the holy Qur'an. Alhamdulillah, I passed with a grade of  97 out of 100. Still, m

Happy Ending

So, today I saw my result today...and it was good, but I am talking about it here... The last semester was the best semester I've ever had! Seriously! I participated in a lot of programs, I met plenty of people, I went out to hang out with friends several times...and last but not least, my result was the best although I took more credit hours that I usually do... This semester was totally the opposite of the previous one. In semester I-2009/2010, I didn't go out to enjoy myself, I didn't participate in programs (except one small program), I didn't take much credit hours, and I didn't score really good in that semester (I didn't even make it to the dean's list). I really had some nice memories and moments that is unforgettable. Even though that all my pictures I took got lost, these memories are immortal...and my mortal soul...

Part of Your World

Image
What would I give... To live where you are? What would I pay... To stay here beside you? What would I do to see you... Smiling at me? Where would we walk, where would we run... If we could stay all day in the sun? Just you and me... And I could be... Part of your world I don't know when, I don't know how... But I know something's starting right now... Watch and you'll see... Some day I'll be... Part of your world

I traveled in time and space!

I traveled from Kuala Lumpur to Makkah...the total time of the flight was around 10 hours and the distance was about 7000 kilometers...or that's how people see it... But from another perspective, I say that I traveled though time and space! I traveled 5 hours to the past [time] and around 7000 kilometers to the west [space]...

See food, Sea food

29/4/1431, 8:30 AM. Saudi Arabia, Makkah. I went to help my father to refill the Zamzam water supply to the Masjid of our neighborhood. When I reached the place, I was surprised. Unlike before, we had to line up because they were too many people. And I had to line and wait for my turn...twice! because we brought too many gallons and you are allowed to carry two gallon only per turn.  When we reached back our neighborhood, it was 10:45 AM. We delivered the Zamzam water to the masjid, and then my father took me to the hospital... After that we went to the supermarket, or I'd rather say "Sea Food Market". As usual, it stinks...but I got used of stinky stuff...It was not really a big market. However, there were a lot of different types and kinds of sea food. Some of these kinds I've never seen in my life before. At the end of the day, we ended up buying some  lobsters, large shrimps, fish eggs.  For the lunch, we had....of course, SEA FOOOD! and a lot of SEA FOOD! my

A Disney Trip

Allhamdullilah, after a journey that lasted 24 hours, I reached my home safely. Although I had the 12 hours boring transit, I say that I enjoyed the trip in general. During the flights, All what I watched were Disney movies, as the title of this blog suggests. In the first flight, I watched the little mermaid and the finding Nemo. And I slept for the rest of the flight. In the second flight, I watched Toy Story 1 and 2. The Little Mermaid I learned from this movies how much fathers love their children, and because of that, they turn to be a little bit (or sometimes very) strict. And how children in the other hand, think that their parents don't understand them. Finding Nemo The same lesson is to be leaned from this movie. Toy Story 1 and 2 This movie emphasizes most about friedship, and teamwork. It also tells us the importance of "one for all, all for one". It was a nice experience and I would like to re-live it again!  Oh, before I foget, this is the first

Heat Transfer

Image
Heat transfer is the science which is concern with the rate of heat transferred. Unlike thermodynamics, which is about the amount of heat transferred. There are three mechanisms of heat transfer: conduction, convection, and radiation. Conduction heat transfer occurs between two adjacent bodies. Convection heat transfer occurs when there is a moving fluid. Radiation heat transfer occurs due the temperature of the body and it doesn't require a medium. The rate of heat transfer is dependent on time and space as we can see from the heat equation: To simplify the analysis, we first consider problems where there is no heat generation, and we further assume that the steady operating conditions exist. Therefore, only the first term is left and the equation is solved by integration twice. If we assume that no heat generation but consider the change with time. The middle term in the equation will disappear and equation will be solve by separation of variables. Sometimes, when the body has
