The way to communicate

Although I speak more than one language, I prefer to speak English. The reason of this not because I love this language, it is because I think that speaking is the way to communicate, and when I speak, I want to communicate with everyone around me. And that's why my posts are in English. Unfortunately, I came to realise that not all people here good at English, even though it is the official language in this university. So, I had to speak with other language such as Malay and Arabic. But somehow, that is not easy for me. I have too many languages in my head already! "It is a gift, and a curse" said by Adrian Monk. Maybe know more that as many languages as I know can confuses me sometimes, but it has it's good side. I know nothing called language-barrier, I can communicate efficiently with anyone I meet right now. I missed the old days in my house, with my family. I used to just express myself and say whatever I want in any language that I can speak. The word that f

Why do we have to change rooms?

They are some things that I don’t understand in the world…One of them, is the following policy in my university “Every year, a student must change his room.” So, if you know the true reason behind this policy, then please click on comment below and type down your answer. Personally, I don’t like this policy simply because I don’t see the necessity of it. However, I have to follow the rules. This policy in my opinion is just a waste of time, effort and resources. It wastes the time of the staff in the office, it wastes the effort of the student because they have to move ALL their belongings, and it wastes resources because of the papers used in printing the check out/in slips. The current head of the SRC (student representative council) is a friend of mine. We are from the same batch, we met in Ta’aruf week (welcoming week), and we are from the same faculty. Thus, I think of persuading him with the idea of canceling this policy (although this task will be difficult), or maybe I should

Decision Science

Everyday we have to make decisions, and this semester I am talking decision science. So, did this subject help me in making my own decisions? Well, I know all the materials in the course outline already. However, I do learn new stuff in every decision science class... Here are some stuff that I learned from Decision Science classes so far, and pardon me if some of them is so obvious or too complicated to you... Since the lecturer is a funny person, I learned some new techniques and ways to make people around me laugh. Sarcasm is not the only way to make jokes. So I added more techniques to what I already learned from watching friends. I know now why every time I go to a store and buy something, they write down everything I buy. I thought it was to make a record so they know the lost or stolen things from their store. However, I was greatly mistaken! And now, I finally know why they called ABC with that name. Of course, I am not talking about the alphabets ABC, I am talking about the

We will not go down in Gaza Tonight

A blinding flash of white light Lit up the sky over Gaza tonight People running for cover Not knowing whether they're dead or alive They came with their tanks and their planes With ravaging fiery flames And nothing remains Just a voice rising up in the smoky haze We will not go down In the night, without a fight You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools But our spirit will never die We will not go down In Gaza tonight Women and children alike Murdered and massacred night after night While the so-called leaders of countries afar  Debated on who's wrong or right But their powerless words were in vain And the bombs fell down like acid rain But through the tears and the blood and the pain You can still hear that voice through the smoky haze We will not go down In the night, without a fight You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools But our spirit will never die We will not go down In Gaza tonight

Report

Me: Agent Matrix to HQ, do you copy me? HQ: Roger, update your situation. Me: I start commencing my mission today at 8:43 AM. I went to the first location, ECON PLD level 4. I met the target, Md Asnyat Asmat. This man is really protective. However, I manage to analyse him. He looks careless and funny from outside. But from inside, that's a different story. I think I need reinforcement for this target. HQ: Reinforcement is on the way. You will be working with a partner in the next encounter. Update your location, Matrix. Me: I am now in HS town, I had to take cover here after I encountered my other target. Nor Zainiyah Norita Mokhtar. She is another challenging target. However, today I had to forfeit. On Wednesday, I'll make sure to accomplish my mission. HQ: Roger. Over and out. Me: Over and out.

Rest in peace, my dear phone: Nokia 1650. Truly, you have been a good phone to me, I sincerely apologize for not being good to you. The first time you came, I was really in need of help, and help is what you provided to me. You were a gift from my dear mother, I saw that as a sign that we would have great friendship. I am very lucky, to have you in my life. You are lucky as well, for that you are from the little fortunates who know my secrets. I would do my best to revive you, but I know that I shouldn't, for that it is He who decides who lives and who dies. and my last words to you are....thanks you very much...
