Al-Baik

Image
I fully understand how Marshall in "How I met your mother" feels about the best burger in New York. I have a similar experience, but mine was with the best Fried Chickens in the world! You will never know how heavenly Al-Baik taste. I don't think I would give Al-Baik its right if I try to describe it...it is something you need to try by yourself! No, it is something you MUST try by yourself!!! I think the chicken of Al-Baik fell from heaven. That's why it is only available only in certain places. It is only available in Saudi Arabia and only in specific regions like Makkah and Madinah... Just enjoy the video. If you don't like the audio (which I think you won't) just mute it. P.S. Maybe you are thinking of having some McD or KFC. But let me tell you this: Al-Baik is too-so-very-more-way better than them!!!

I want one too

Now there is a new Topa in the house, Emad Topa. So cute and small, and turns to red when he cries haha. That's my nephew, the son of my brother who got married last year. So, did my brother changed since last time? Not really, he is almost the same guy after marriage. And what about his wife, also the same thing, she didn't change a lot. But I noticed small differences in each of them. Naturally, since they live under one roof, there must be some influence on each other. I really hoped that she would change him to a better person, not vise versa. They are the first couple I observe closely, excluding my parents of course. I'd like to say they are happily married. That's what I can see and observe. And to have a baby before even their first anniversary proves my point. Speaking of which, now I'm playing with their baby. I want one too. But first, need to search for my future wife. My parents entrusted me with this decision and gave me green light and total freedo

Next Stage

I am in the last stage of this level in the adventure of my life. Just to make my things more interesting, I imagine my life just like an adventure in a video-game...where I am the main character of course...Ok, enough with my fantasy world, let's get real. Here are my options: Malaysia, UIA (Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia) Malaysia, UM (Universiti Malaya for PhD) or UTM (Universiti Technology Malaysia for PhD) Saudi Arabia, KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) Singapore, NUS (National University of Singapore) Australia, ANU (Australian National University) Sweden, UG (University of Gothenburg) Switzerland, UZH (University of Zurich) So, I can choose between these seven options. But need to study the pros and cons carefully. Apply the 5C's that I learned in engineering management course: Comprehend.  Compile.  Consider. Compare. Commit. However, as I proceed in higher stages and levels, more options become available and the adventure becom

Just open your eyes

Life can be boring, but also can be exciting. It can be painful, but also it can be joyful. It can be empty, but also can be filled with things you never expect. You are the only one who can choose the way of your life. But you need to open your eyes, to see your path and your choices. And I am really grateful to one of my best friends for opening my eyes and showing me what I couldn't see before. I hope she is reading this. Currently I am in my hometown, after a year of being apart. Every where I go, I have memories, most of them are not good memories. But as I remember them, a big smile is drawn on my face. Yes, I had a very hard life as a child. However, I thank my Lord for that as it shaped the person who I am right now. But now, I see my younger siblings getting whatever they desire while before I did not even get what I necessary need. And my only feeling when I see that is completely pity and sympathy for them. Currently I am home now. You think that you don't have any

What about you?

This video revolves about Khalid bin Al-Waleed and his unwavering love for the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. It is said that Al-Waleed, in the middle of a battle, stopped fighting to look for his helmet where he had kept a strand of the Prophet's hair, peace be upon. And as the narrator says, "If Khalid's love went that far for a strand of the prophet's hair peace be upon him. How about you?"

Detective Ameen

I really enjoy watching detective TV shows, where the hero searches for clues and traces of the culprit, and uses his great intellect to figure out the links between everything. However, I’ve never seen myself as a good detective until that day. I was in a public restroom, washing my face, and freshening up myself. A middle age man, with full suit went out of the toilet, and came to wash his hands next to me. He: “You know boy, you’d better close the water tape while doing that. You might not feel it, but it is good for the globe.” “Ok ok, Mr. Environmentalist.” I said that in my head. Then I wanted to change the subject because I don’t like to take about things that annoy me. “You know, I really admire people who can use both hands in their daily practices”. “Eh? What do you mean?” He said. I sensed that he was playing stupid with me. “When you went out of the toilet, you used your left hand. When you opened the water tape, you used your left hand. And the way you washed your hand

Finite Element Analysis

A friend of my lecturer was the engineer in charge for the construction of some building. An accident occurred in the construction site as a steel beam fell from the top of the building (more than 10 stories ) on the car of the contractor and killed him. The family of the contractor, of course, didn’t believe that this was an accident. They sued the engineer and accused him that the ‘fall’ of the beam was on purpose. He didn’t know what to do, and asked the help of his best friend (my lecturer). My lecturer agreed to help. He asked the engineer about the type of the beam, the height of the building, and the condition of the weather (temperature and wind velocity), and made a simulation a beam falling under these conditions. The result was exactly what happened on the day of accident, the beam exactly landed on the spot where the car was parked! The engineer was saved, happy ending... That’s the power of finite element analysis  and the brilliance of my lecturer . Maybe FEA doesn’t so
