There is no Award, there is only Reward.

When I was a kohai, I got selected in the university team for MASUM 2011. As we trained for 3 or 4 months, I got appointed as a captain despite being the most kohai. I was a third year student, and about to start my internship. I declined an offer from Proton, the HQ, and settled to work as a mechanic in a small workshop for Perodua...that was because of the fear that I would not fulfill my duties as a captain. Fast forwarding, during my last semester in my degree, choosing my next university...as my supervisor got a good link with Nottingham university, I got the chance to continue my studies there, one year in Malaysia, and three years in UK. A PhD program, skipping Msc. Yet, it was another decline from me. As my sensei was travelling away, someone must be there to take care of that dojo. There are a lot of opportunities I have missed, because of me putting other before me. So far I have not regretted. But if you were in my shoes maybe you would. We are different people, we have
